The
project will inject £1.4M
into the local economy!
The BSmart project is primarily aimed at the 3,500 young
people in Bolton aged 13 to 16 who are looked after (in foster or care
homes) or those on free school meals.
For these young people a monthly government bursary of
£35 is available which must be spent on positive activities.
Bolton Council is taking the opportunity to empower all 11 to
16 years olds in Bolton with a BSmart card which they or
their parents/carers can load with money to use in small
transactions in outlets across the town.
This is a further 26,500 young people who will be entitled to
sign up for a BSmart card. They, and their parents, will be
able to credit their card to spend at your outlet.

Install a card reader and reap the benefits from 30,000 young people.
